Max was born and raised in Toronto, a multi-cultural city that has nurtured his talents. He is the son of dual and multiple influences. His American mother was a hippie given to wanderlust; his father a world adventurer with Jewish roots in Toronto.

Max is a child of contradiction and confluence. His camera reflects a sensitivity to diversity, and affirms his opposition to social injustices and human polarities.

Max stands in front of the camera as well as behind it, which has helped him develop an intuitive eye and sense of audience. He is an award winning actor in theatre, film and television, as well as voice animation. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
